put an end to unfair bank fees for cashing their own checks

Created by S.B. on June 02, 2015

Banks charge predatory fees while cashing checks written on their own notes when the check holder does not own an account at that bank. This is unfair to consumers, who may or may not be able to open an account at that bank.

It should not be considered a convenience fee, as the check writer already directly pays fees for the bank's services and checks.
