We are in the midst of an economic crisis. The Department of Defense and other federal agencies are facing budget cuts due to the POTUS' own policy, a bad policy which he now attempts to blame on his political opponents. The administration has been making dire predictions and doing their best to alarm the public as much as possible about the fallout of sequestration. However, on the eve of sequestration the POTUS is out golfing with celebrities while the FLOTUS is on a separate vacation skiing in Aspen. They've also seen no reason to cancel their upcoming summer vacation to Martha's Vineyard. If circumstances are so desperate, the First Family can tighten their belts along with the rest of working Americans. He is a public servant and the economy is not his personal bank account.
