Leveraging the Debt Ceiling
Otherwise known as Fear and Loathing in DC (sorry I meant to say Vegas)
The election is over. We’ve been to the very brink of the fiscal cliff/curb/slope or whatever name you prefer. Now with only a few weeks before the inauguration, we’re already staring down the debt ceiling in late February to early March. Sorry everyone it looks like we’ve kicked the can down the road and unfortunately no one in the Senate or Congress can bend it like Beckham.
To be clear the debt ceiling is the maximum amount of monies the United States can borrow.
