Currently there is no Federal ban in place to prevent private companies or Governments within the U.S from cloning human embryos, as well as creating designer babies in which parents or any persons for that matter could decide on certain traits off the offspring. As the years pass this technology continues to improve and the dangers of it continue to step closer to reality. It is a gross violation of human rights and individualism and is ethically and morally wrong, it needs to be stopped before it starts.
