We should keep Alexander Hamilton on the $10 dollar bill because he was a founding father who was highly prevalent in forming how our government works today. Alexander Hamilton was a self-taught economist and the face of the Federalist Era. Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and John Madison all contributed to the writing of the 85 Federalist Papers, which explained in intricate detail how our government should run. The papers, in which the vast majority were written by Alexander Hamilton, influences a vast number of principles the government runs on, such as the three branches of government and the system of checks and balances.
Andrew Jackson, however, was a barbaric man who signed in the Indian Removal act which led to the Trail of Tears, and entered us into several frivolous wars.
