put a female on the $20 bill instead of the $10 bill. Change Andrew Jackson instead of Alexander Hamilton.

Created by E.O. on November 09, 2015

Instead of having a female on the 10 dollar bill, have the female figure selected on the 20 dollar bill. Alexander Hamilton, as the first Secretary of the Treasury and the founder of the National Bank, belongs on a dollar bill more so than Andrew Jackson, who was against paper money in general- he felt that only gold and silver coins should be American currency. Despite Jackson's great achievements as the seventh President of the United States, the 20 dollar bill is a more suitable choice for the honorable recognition of women earning the right to vote. Alexander Hamilton should remain the face of the 10 dollar bill. This would honor both Hamilton's achievements for the American economy and women's great achievements throughout American history.
