The United States needs, once and for all, a Constitutional Amendment settling the legal debates around women's health care, and codifying the SCOTUS decision reached in Roe vs. Wade. In recent years, the states have passed any number of unfair and obtrusive restrictions on a woman's legal ability to make her own health care decisions in sound consultation with her doctor, and this is clearly sex-based discrimination. Nothing less than a Constitutional Amendment will clear up the matter and lay to rest the state's attempts to restrict a woman's right to make her own choices free of government interference.
