Put Fredrick Douglas on the $20 Bill

Created by M.V. on September 09, 2013

Andrew Jackson was a slave owner, and a ruthless murderer of Native Americans and runaway slaves. That he is still on the $20 bill is a disgrace, quite frankly.

I propose we make a fantastic symbolic statement to the world; that we reject the ideas of racism, slavery and genocide, and replace Jackson on the $20 note with the abolitionist hero Frederick Douglas, an honorable man and true patriot if there ever was one.

It is long overdue.
