Grey wolves are still an endangered species, and the hunt of wolves in the northwest is severely damaging the fragile population that has taken ninety years to somewhat recover from over hunting. It was taken of the list by lawmakers bullied by some ranchers, not biologists. The loss of wolf populations will ruin the ecosystem of the mountain states where it lives.
