Put the Grey wolf back on the endangered species list

Please put the Grey Wolf back under the protection of the ESA, so that they are nationally protected. So far with their well being left up to the individual states, many wolves have recently died due to hunters, ranchers and many state fish and wild life agencies have agreed to use our tax dollars do the killing for them, in response to complaints about cattle that are grazing on public lands being killed. Even though many states offer compensation for the ranchers losses.America was once home to as many as a couple of million gray wolves, But by 1970 we were left with only 3,000 total. Since then wolves were shortly added to the ESA, and millions of dollars later in recovery programs, we managed to bring their numbers back up a bit, but now they are being carelessly slaughtered once again
