put a halt to the de facto monopolies that US cable companies enjoy.

Created by J.F. on February 21, 2013

The US government has allowed the creation of coercive monoploies by Cable TV/Internet companies across the nation. There is no competition regionally; Xfinity/Comcast, Time Warner, Cox Communications and others have an effective stranglhold on speed, fees and customer service. Cable needs to be brken up, much like ATT in the 1980's, and allow other companies to use the infrastructure that the US government has helped to subsidise.

The current lack of choice and lack of real innovation in the field has created a system that is, at best, lethargic when compared to other modernized countries. We need choices, and we need competition in order to promote the type of American ingenuity that the US is known for.

Let's fix cable, and fix it now. #FixCable
