For decades the census has neglected to give Hispanic American's the right the choose their Race . We have the option to check either White , Black , American Indian , Alaska native , Asian Indian , Filipino , Japanese , Vietnamese , Korean , Native Hawaiian , Samoan , Guamanian , or Pacific Islander . If you notice their missing one from the list. With all due respect I am not white , black ..ect , I'm a proud Hispanic American . Is this really too much to ask for Mr. President? I believe in a Word that you yourself know very well . It's CHANGE ! I believe that one day either my generation or my children's generation will be able to proudly check the box that reads their race .
