Put an immediate moratorium on foreclosures for all owner-occupied homes. Make banks make deals that stop all evictions.

Created by S.J. on November 15, 2012

We ask President Obama to immediately stop all foreclosures on owner-occupied homes and stop evictions of families from foreclosed homes.

If we are foreclosed on and evicted, many of us will become homeless. Our mortgage payments before modification are cheaper than rent almost anywhere else. If we don't have friends or family to move in with, we will be homeless.

Require banks to work out deals with owners, no matter the owners' current financial position, to give us a real chance to get back to work.

Banks take what they can get in foreclosure and short sales. Why not work out the same amounts with owners?

Immediately halt evictions and make a deal with foreclosure buyers to keep families in our homes.

We need time to bail ourselves out, and we need your help to do it.
