It's true.. there are tons of horses out there that have no where to go and are abandoned and abused. However, we shouldn't need to turn to slaughtering them when we could easily just limit breeding of horses. Some racehorses have 300+ foals just so owners can make money. Why not limit race horses to 2-3 foals per stallion and give all the other horses out there a chance at life instead of being sold to be eaten by foreigners. Us amereicans dont eat horses so why should we allow OUR horses be slaughtered for foreigners? If we limit breeding in general for everyone then the population will be under control so we can put an end to this practice. Its NOT humane, its ABUSE. Its people being GREEDY to make money and use horses like machines. Horses are America's history. Lets save them!!
