This petition is the first step in a much larger plan. This petition is solely being made to give the United States government and the Obama Administration an idea of how many people are serious about getting real change for people of color and other minorities.
The plan is to get this petition filled to the brim with signatures and then to form a coalition with other groups fighting for the same issues for marginalized group.
Once our coalition has hit massive numbers, we can really confront the people in charge and make an effective, tactical change.
It is ridiculous that James Holmes, a white man, was able to kill 12 people and stay unharmed by authorities, while in the past few years there have been tons of youth of color killed by police for ALLEGED attacks.
