The United States needs to catch up with Russia and China in space exploration.
Russia has already *tried* to send a sample return mission to Phobos, a moon of Mars. It failed, but it was a bold attempt.
China has their own manned space program, Shenzhou. Shenzhou missions have been docking with Tiangong 1, China's space station.
And the United States has no manned space program!
As a nation, we should commit ourselves to landing a man on Mars by 2030. I propose to speed up the development of Space Launch System and the Orion capsule.
The United States should be a world leader in space exploration. I am not against COTS, CRS, or CCDev. I just believe that NASA should regain their spot as the most advanced space agency in the world! If you agree with my petition, please support. :)
