The United States government should put money towards the experimenting and development of nuclear fusion technology. Such experiments could lead to highly cheap, eco-friendly energy. And in theory, a fusion reactor has no chance of explosion, so those who fear of such harmful outcomes can breathe a sigh of relief. There is experimentation going on in this field, but the budgets of those experiments are quite limited, and misinformed officials who do not understand the technology are hindering its growth on surreal grounds, without considering the vast benefits it has to offer. Thus, the US government could do their part in the furthering of the world as a whole by simply funding these promising experiments.
