There is no official curriculum in the public school system that helps students choose what they want to do later in life. It is time to make it mandatory for schools to provide the means students need to make educated and informed decisions on what they would like to do after high school. It is also time to make it mandatory for skills other than just book knowledge to be taught. Communication, networking and stress management are all things that aren't taught that students will need to use for the rest of their life.
