The oil and gas companies are exempt, per the 2005 law brought in by Fmr. VP Dick Cheney, from having to obey any Clean Air, Water, Clean Drinking water and other enviromental regulations when it comes to fracking. With fracking growing at a high speed pace, it is affecting communities across the country, both urban and rural. This is unthinkable. No industry should have this leeway.
Make this industry obey the laws of the land. They cannot continue unfettered. Make the EPA do its job, and enforce the laws to all industries involved in fracking.
