JFK: "Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future." I couldn't agree more.
George Washington: "Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence…the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference."
These two pearls of wisdom should co-exist. There are ample parents in every state who would defend their and other's children. There are thousands of vets out of work, who, as constables, would lay down their lives to defend our "most valuable resource". Guns are not the problem. It's those who know they can do these things because no threat exists to stop them. Institute programs that would "restrain evil interference".
