Put into place policies/procedures to reduce and/or eliminate fraud from our social programs before raising taxes.

Would like to see the Government stop the countless fraud and waste going on in the social programs such as welfare, food stamps and section 8 housing. I am all for helping out the TRUELY needy, but the free money promotes fraud and waste and there is no check ups on the people collecting the monies. Before raising taxes lets clean the house first. We can save BILLIONS by eliminating the fraud and waste. And after if we then need to raise taxes we will have a better idea of how much we need to raise and were that money will be most effictive. We as a country have allowed these programs to function unchecked and with no prevention for fraud. I will gladly have my taxes raised if I know the money is not misused by the government or the people the government gives the money to.
