Our political system has been corrupted by the influence of money. We live In a country where only the rich can afford to run for public office. We have a congress that is exempt from insider trading. Super PACs have been allowed to funnel unlimited anonymous contributions to any politician for any reason. We are given the illusion of choice in elections where both sides have been bought and paid for by the same people. Any serious change in our country must start with campaign finance reform. Give the power of government in this country back to the people. Allow only campaign contributions from individuals, not corporations and limit the amount to $100 or less per candidate per election cycle.
