I am starting this petition on behalf of anyone who has been heartbroken & effected by the recent news of the deaths of the innocent children & adults taken at the hands of a senseless or deranged person wielding a gun. This includes the deaths of those in Aurora, Colorado as well as those in Oregon and now the victims in Newton, Connecticut.
My petition is simple. Put prayer back in schools.
2 Chronicles 7:14-15 in the Amplified Bible states:
"If My people, who are called by My name shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place."
Prayer from the innocent is powerful.
