Put pressure on the Chinese regime to rehabilitate the victims of 1989 Tian'anmen Protest and apologize for crackdown

Created by Z.L. on May 06, 2013

In 1989, in the wake of widespread political corruption, nepotism, oppression, higher living cost, social inequality, a 2-month long movement, lead by students, spread all over China, culminating in the cold-blooded crackdown by the Communist regime on the morning of June 4, known as the June 4th Incident. Many died, many faced persecution, and many escaped to the West. For 24 years, the regime chose to hide the facts from the people, censoring newspapers and the internet. For 24 years, the regime refused to review this event, and shows no sign of any substantial reform.

For the justice to come, we appeal to the US gov. to put pressure on the regime, so to force them officially rehabilitate the victims, to restore their reputation, and to issue a formal apology.
