put pressure on gasoline companies to reign in high costs of gasoline. /

Created by J.B. on February 16, 2012

Gasoline companies are increasing their high profits each quarter when profits are announced. Gasoline CEO's are enjoying millions of dollars in salaries. Meanwhile, as Americans are cutting back on gasoline use due in part to more efficient cars, gasoline companies are exporting more and more gasoline to other countries; thus keeping our costs extremely high. They are also cutting back the number of oil refineries to keep costs high.

Gasoline companies have the right to make profits, but they should not price gouge. Their greed hurts the American economy.

If the American people did not have to pay so much for gasoline, they would have more money to spend. This would create jobs and help the economy grow.
