The central Iraqi government under Mr Maliki has been withholding the Kurdistan Region's portion of the Iraqi budget for over 7 months. More than one fourth of the region's population are government employees and they totally rely on their monthly salaries for living. The economy of the region has been hit and its population are suffering as the result of Mr Maliki's decision.
You are kindly requested to:
1- take immediate action against this unjust and cruel decision;
2- put real pressure on Mr Maliki to end his economic embargo on Kurdistan Region;
3- get Mr Maliki to compensate for all the hardships and suffering the innocent people of Kurdistan Region experience due to his decision.
