Put pressure on Paul Kagame president of Rwanda for the release of political prisoner Victoire Ingabire.

Created by J.U. on November 17, 2012

Ms. Ingabire returned to Rwanda in January 2010 from exile in the Netherlands to take part in presidential elections but was barred after being falsely accused of genocide denial.
In a free and fair election, Ingabire would probably have won. Kagame, a typical african dictator, who does not want to relinquish the post of presidency and wants to keep it indefinitely, fabricated charges against her. After a mockery trial, Ingabire was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Ingabire's imprisonment is simply a way to discard her from politics.
We the people of Rwanda would like to ask President Obama and the US administration to put pressure on Kagame and ask him to release Ingabire and all political prisoners such as Bernard Ntaganda and Deo Mushayidi and ask him to hold a free and fair election.
