Put restrictions on national media during tragic events. Stop glorifying mass murderers in the national spotlight

Created by K.S. on December 14, 2012

The Sandy Hook Elementary shooting has been broadcasted every second since the story was first reported and will continue to be the headline story for many weeks, if not months.
The only thing that these 24/7 media coverage does is glorify the killer in the tragedy. They (media) dig up any information they can find out about the history of the killers. It is the media that creates the hype to these tragedies. It is the media that continues the non-stop coverage of the event. If someone wants fame, they will do something news-worthy.
Stop allowing media to disclose personal information of suspects. Stop glorifying the tragedies and creating a mass media event surrounding it. The problem is the the influential news with the continuous coverage. Help stop it!
