This petition is to address the blatant lack of restrictions placed upon gun purchases. There are less restrictions for a regular person to get a gun then there are on a police officer to carry his. A police officer is required to pass a psychological exam to carry his weapon, what is wrong with having everyone who wants a gun to pass something similar?
We the people need to force the government to listen. We the people can get the laws to be made that will put a stop to all of the horrible mass shootings that we are seeing more and more frequently now. Columbine, Virginia Tech, Tuscon Arizona, the mall in Oregon, and now this most recent shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut. 18 KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN were killed today! Are we not tired of this, America? Lets change our country
