We can all agree that children in schools should be protected from events like the one that occurred in Newton.
The politicians will debate gun control for months, and we will most likely not see any significant changes regardless of what laws are changed or enacted.
We can, in a very quick time, install security doors on all school entrances and on the classrooms themselves.
Make the doors bullet proof / resistant. Put locks on them that are not capable of being opened from the outside without a code or a manual authorization from someone inside.
Lets start by making this simple and inexpesive step to provide some protection for the students and teachers in our schools.
