Put the Selective Service Act into "deep standby" and eventually abolish it.

The Selective Service Act is a law that infringes a man's freedom of movement by forcing him to abandon the live he has and move into another country. It also limits freedom of religion as some religions require their members to live a peaceful, violence-free life. The SSA also has the potential to destroy a new family by taking the man away from his family members who need his support. Imagine if you were drafted into war and were forced to leave your loved ones and encourage the destruction and emotional devastation that war brings. For all these reasons and more, I ask that YOU THE PEOPLE petition the government to subject the SSA to the status of "deep standby" and eventual abolishment. You have the power to do so.
