Citizens within the state of Texas have, once again, embarrassed the other states of the Union by acting like spoiled, infantile children. Their petition to secede from our Union, while known to be a fool's errand to anyone who paid attention during Civics Class, has succeeded in inspiring similar acts by other clueless citizens of other states and, more importantly, made the entire nation, whether associated with these individuals or not, appear to the world as backwards, self absorbed doofuses undeserving of either the liberties or luxuries afforded us by being residents of this great nation. While many people in the world suffer from lack of any freedom whatsoever, these Texans have so entirely taken theirs for granted that they need a good, long timeout.
