put a stop to Forest Laboratories unethical stopping selling Namenda IR on Aug 15 as it goes generic January 2015.

NAMENDA SALES STOPPING!! Forest Labs will STOP SELLING NAMENDA on August 15 2014! They are telling all caregivers and pharmacies that they are going to focus on just their XR version and oral version. They are saying the XR will have greater benefits and give patients better dosing because it is a once a day 28 mg extended release instead of the twice a day 10 mg Namenda that they are discontinuing. What they are Not saying is that this is an early discontinuance of this drug before the January 2015 date that Namenda will become generic and they will lose millions of dollars because they are trying to force everyone on the current Namenda to have to switch to the XR. XR does Not work for every patient including myself. Being done solely to benefit their bottom line and patients will suffer
