We are high school students who are worried about the future of our oceans specifically coral reef due to the harmful effects of the exploitation of aquatic organisms. Due to that there is no control of the management oversight, government regulations, and trace-ability of fishing activities has been a huge problem for in the fishing industry. Which causes there to be illegal fishing. In addition, it will harm the economy. Over fishing may threaten coastal nations down and it will devastate communities whose source of labor and revenue depends on healthy, plentiful stocks of fish.
