We get robocalls from people selling aluminum siding, companies trying to "protect us from identity theft" and politicians who want to let us know who we should support for sewer commissioner.
We, the petitioners say, "Knock it off." The FCC should ban these calls, (including the ones that you will be making in 2014, Mr. President) and let us get on with our dinner, our housework or whatever it was that you rudely interrupted.
We can allow for two exceptions: School closings and civic emergencies. Other than that, leave us alone.
Thank you.
