Put a tax on everyday use of all gasoline cars in highly polluted large cities, encourage use of eco-friendly vehicles.

Climate change is becoming a bigger problem every day throughout the world,even in the USA.
The oil lobby has controlled our government for years but politicians and people of both parties start to wake up and realize that this issue, which is a national security issue, cannot be ignored anymore.
Americans use cars every day which is a great threat to the environment, this could be solved easily with the proper laws.
We need to tax everyday use of gasoline cars in urban areas, set up checkpoints at city limits, or develop a Vignette registration system. Electric,hybrid cars should not be taxed.
This would encourage the use of public transportation, purchase of electric, and hybrid cars,companies to develop vehicles that go with renewable energy and give us a clean,eco-friendly country.
