put trained US soldiers outside of public/private schools, malls, and other public areas to protect citizens from harm.

A program should be created where a trained, qualified, armored US soldier is placed in front every private school, public school, mall, temple, synagogue, mosque, and public gathering area in the entire country. We have millions of soldiers - the best in the world - and we have a violence problem in this great nation. We cannot stop gun violence by taking guns away from people - a nation of 310 million people with 280 million guns in the public makes that impossible. The solution to this problem is to bring our troops home - whether it be from Afghanistan or Iraq or Japan or Germany or South Korea - and put them in our own society protecting our own citizens. No one could ever get by a US marine - EVER. Doing this will discourage anyone from attempting violent acts to our society.
