The Congress and the President of the US work for the people of the United States. But they have not been doing their job properly in the recent years, which is evident by their inability to produce a budget, among other things.
In any paying job that any of the rest of the US citizens do, if one does not do their job properly, they get penalized or fired. We don't have a choice to "fire" all of the Congress and due to a " legal technicality" we can't ask the Congress or the President to be not paid until they do their job.
This petition is to put the Congressional and the President's salary under an escrow until they successfully pass a US budget.
