Create corporate tax incentives to help businesses offset the additional expenses for salaries and put people back to work.
The official unemployment rate may have dropped, but the "real" unemployment numbers, which includes those discouraged job seeks and the underemployed remains significantly higher. Some reports estimate the real unemployment rate is at 13.8 percent (Cox 2013).
We must do something to help these people. The dignity and pride of not only receiving a paycheck, but receiving a paycheck that will allow individuals to climb back out of poverty is immeasurable. Enough games. Let's find real solutions!
