The United States is one of three Nations that have not adopted the Metric System (The only developed one). If we start using it, communication between Nations would be easier. The metric system is based on 10 making converting units easier. The system we use now is confusing to convert within itself (Tbsp to cups to gallons, inches to feet to yards, etc)
Changing will be difficult, but it will set our Nation up for success in the future.
