Dear President Barack H. Obama,
You understand, I understand, the American people understand: minimum wage is a wage that is unlivable. Mr. Obama, I loved what you stated in the State of the Union. $9.00 minimum wage, and then tying minimum wage to inflation. Bravo, Mr. President! Bravo! I hope this can at least be passed.
But, we also need a balanced approach to a balanced budget. There is an easy and clear way to do this: bring the U.S. government officials who Americans elect to minimum wage. This would bring their salaries more to a level that American people can understand, and ensure that government employees understand the American financial problems. My petition goes to all elected offices: House, Senate, President/VP, Governor, etc., as well as the Secretaries of Departments.
