Put Veterans on Medicare.

I submit that veterans should no longer be subjected to the long waits and longer lists of lies put out by the VA. Veterans deserve better, and we already have a much better system in place: the Medicare system. Make veterans eligible for Medicare upon return/discharge, and allow them to keep their doctors. Leave a small part of the VA in place to deal with rehabilitation of the severely injured while the rest is overhauled to get our vets the best care. Let the regular healthcare system take care of them in the meantime, while giving them reasonable coverage for their needs. As a thanks for their services, vets should not be asked to pay premiums on their Part B and D plans while this program is in place. This gives our vets good care while giving the government ample time to overhaul.
