Quantum Leap was a fundamentally important program during the 1980's and the 1990's. This show provided opportunities for people to learn about physics, history, physical and sexual education, sociology and emotional intelligence. It is my opinion that the cancellation of NBC's Quantum Leap has been directly responsible for at least two recessions, the rise in adolescent obesity and the dwindling importance placed on the sciences within the education system. It is with this in mind, that we the people of the United States desire the return of Quantum Leap to television, an explanation as to the significance of the final episode of Quantum Leap (or rather a segway episode for the anticipated return), and a guaranteed contract for Scott Bakula to reprise the role of Sam Beckett.
