Anti-Gun groups always jump at the chance to blame guns for the actions of criminals. The tragedy in Newtown, Conn. and/or any other tragedy is not the actions of a firearm! The cowards who carry out these senseless acts choose places and times that they know others are unlikely to be able to defend themselves due to laws banning firearms. Law abbiding citizens therefore were left defenseless. New Gun Laws are not the answer to these problems. Enforcement of the existing laws and more flexibility for those who complete firearms training (including Concealed Carry Classes). If there had been armed security in any of these locations or any of the workers were carrying weapons, the end results would likely have been less severe. No one ever mentions the lives saved by firearms owners.
