Quit fighting other countrys' wars.

As a country we need to cut down on our military spending. Over the course of American history, it seems like we have always been involved in some battle or war. These wars are costly. This year alone we are projected to spend $1.030 - $1.415 trillion on military/ defense costs alone, and most of this on wars we should not have been involved with in the first place. In conrast, in the year 2011, the federal budget for education was just $69.9 billion. As an American citizen I understand the importance of having a strong military to defend our country, however I also feel it would be more benificial to cut the spending on fighting in other countries and to help the people in our own country first.
