quit sending billions in aid to other countries and use that money to pay down national debt and fix the United States

We spend countless billions of dollars on helping other countries, when we could use the help at home. Every time we "help" another country, it turns around and hates us a decade later. I believe we should stop aiding other countries, both in an economic sense and a military sense. When it comes to being a part of NATO, and working with our allies, we should spend no more than what anyone else will spend. Until we can pay for it and not borrow the money; until we have no more debt; we shouldn't be spending all this money fixing other countries when we need fixed. Our foreign relations should begin with the United States of America getting fixed. Once that happens then we can help fix other countries.
