Racism in the HIRING process. African American especially women are denied job opportunities based based solely on race.

Created by S.S. on December 04, 2012

After several resumes sent out daily, finally got a phone interview, following this, got a second interview, this time, in person, this is where the issue unfolds. See even though I was well qualified for the position, I was not given the job, reason , well, I am not quite the race they were looking for that particular position.
Several experiences led me to the conclusion that I have been denied job opportunities because of the color of my skin.
It is important to look into the issue of RACISM in the hiring process so as to reduce unemployment in black community.
Employers should stop using self identification question to discriminate against African American applicants.
Also, employers should stop denying African Americans jobs because they are not bilingual.
Thanks.
