In the United States a President may not run for office until the age of 37. However, the age restrictions for becoming a Federal Employee is very different.
Most positions like those in law enforcement have a maximum entry age and the age may vary from agency to agency but generally falls within the range 34 yrs to 37 yrs. This is an unfair restriction placed on qualified citizens of this country.
Our President must be 37 years old but a qualified citizen may not be hired by the federal government at the same age.
I am a 40 year old white women who took on President Obama's mothers return to school issue and now have a BS in Criminal Justice, a federal probation position is what I was seeking, until the government said I was to old. This by any other employer would be discrimination.
