Raise Awareness And Support The Revision Of The Post 9/11 GI Bill So Veterans Can Receive The Education They Earned!

Created by J.C. on February 26, 2013

The GI Bill Tuition Fairness Act of 2013 has been introduced to Congress. This bill will fix the issue of veterans being charged the out-of-state tuition rate when the current Post 9/11 GI Bill only covers the in-state rate. Veterans spend their time moving around the country during their service. When their service is done, many choose to live in a different state than their original state residence. We are then subject to out-of-state tuition rates at public universities that are vastly unaffordable. Although we respect all state laws, Veterans are residents of, and serve the United States of America first and foremost. Allow all Veterans who are entitled to the Post 9/11 GI Bill the ability to go any public university in America. Please raise awareness and support H.R. 357!
