Raise the base pay for police, firemen and teachers.

Anyone ever wonder why people on TV are teaching children more than schools, why there are constant scandals in the police departments and why fire departments have to rely on volunteers more than anyone to get the job done. I don't understand how an actor can make more money than any of the three above. One way I see to have communities become safer and for children to learn what they need to know, is to raise the base pay for the three jobs above. Generally when people are under payed they look for a way to make more; good or bad. Also if the jobs pay more then usually there is a bigger crop to choose from and the best will get the jobs and the others will be forced to work harder. With all the money the government dumps into the economy everyday I don't see how this would be a problem.
